BioTime to make this sound a little less melodramatic.
I'm an engineer adapting to being a computer programmer who doesn't want to be a code monkey forever. I still like being romantic, but haven't had the chance lately. I'm probably still pretty nerdy and uptight but I'm trying to be better about that. I've given up on making everything make sense. Given the chance I'll still try to observe before I interact with things.
I'm horrible about checking my friends list. I'm even worse about posting. Usually my life is just too boring to warrent a post, or I'm having too much fun to think about it. I'm trying to be better about this. Especially now that I have more friends who I don't see on a regular basis.
I'd rather talk over coffee or a couple drinks than hang out at a club. A quiet evening with friends is more fun than a loud party with a bunch of strangers.
